Yep. Benton county, home of the hick university in the state (Oregon: hippies; Oregon State: hicks. We're 40 miles apart), is doing the coolest thing EVER to put on the pressure to deal with this, already. I stood up and squealed when this was on the news here last night.

As a graduate of the *liberal* state university (U of Oregon, in Eugene) and with siblings at *that other* state university (OSU, in Corvallis), I am greatly offended to see Benton Co. declared "a bastion of liberalism". Yeah. Right.

Which makes this all the more perplexing, and amusing...

You know, we could solve the whole sin issue by letting gay couples get married. In fact, the longer they're married the less sex will be being had. No sex, no sin, right? Take me for instance, I've been married 19 years and I've had so little sex lately that I damn near qualify for sainthood.
