apocalypsosPolice say a motorcyclist participating in a protest ride against helmet laws in upstate New York died after he flipped over the bike's handlebars and hit his head on the pavement.
Unsurprisingly, the story says that the state troopers told the reporter that the guy would have probably survived if he were wearing a helmet.
I really don't get the "I don't have to wear a helmet!" brigade, seriously. Except I do, because this country is filled with people who will throw a temper tantrum about having the freedom to do what they want because America is a free country, even if what they want to do is stupid, useless, dangerous, and/or cruel.
