You know Crystalwank? Yeah, well, she confessed. Sort of.

And I'll say exactly what I said in cleolinda's journal. I'll give her credit for apologizing. I don't put up with five things -- stupidity, bigotry, hypocrisy, bullshit, and lies. (This is, of course, why I love Dubya so much. *eye roll*) If you're willing to admit when you're wrong, though, I'll step back. Admittedly, she didn't say she was sorry for everything she's done, but at least she said she was lying and sorry about some of it. It's better than you get most of the time, especially when people have insisted on digging themselves a hole this deep.

What irks me is the friends-locked post, and the repost at fandom_wank. Already, people are yelping, "Ack! Friends-lock repost! Bad, bad, bad!" Which is understandable. But what gets me is that she friends-locked it when, as she says at one point in her post, someone on her friends list is reposting stuff to thread at fandom_wank. Which means she knew damn well that someone would repost it, and she friends-locked it anyway.

This means she now has a truly legitimate beef against fandom_wank that isn't OMG THEIR PIKING ON MEE!!11!WTF?! (Btw, it's really hard to type that stupid.)

And to be honest, I think she planned it that way.

Yes, it's The Wank That Ate Fandom, once again All. About. Crystal. She's like Marissa Cooper, in a way.

Urgh. I need to go write some porn to clear my head. Or, you know, clutter it with pretty naked people. Like this guy. (Where the hell does British royalty get off looking that good in a Speedo?! Dear Princess Diana, thank you for your gene pool. Sincerely, me, a great many other young heterosexual women, and numerous gay men.)

I still think her apology was a big ol' stack of bullshit. She admits to tracing, yet still considers it HER art. She admits that taking money for them might have been bad, yet she took money for it anyway and tried to alleviate some of the guilt by giving some of the money to charity (do we believe that? can we really believe ANYTHING she says?). She didn't address trying to take credit for other people's pictures, or her run-ins with the boys in LA, which I would LOVE to grill her about since I was there when she supposedly was.

I wish my friend hadn't fallen for Crystal's tricks and posted the entry, though. She got it from someone who Crystal has friended - which just goes to show how good Crystal's "friends" are.

Well, if she's trying to end the wankage, she's failing miserably. Which, of course, I think it's blatantly obvious she's isn't trying to do. She's an attention whore, and good or bad, she'll take what she can get. The fact that the more she talks, the worse she looks, has totally escaped her.

I'll give her credit for posting an apology at all, but it IS bullshit, and I think we both know it'll fuel another five or six pages worth of comments. (That's me, underestimating. :))
