Watching "Miracle." Hee ... I love my pretty, pretty hockey movie. Mike Eruzione is such a puppy. *snuggles*

I adore this movie. It gives me a happy, and not just because of pretty hockey players. And yes, Kurt's hair -- bad. Very, very bad.

The extras look pretty good, even though I haven't gotten to watch them yet. They have that ESPN Classic roundtable the players did when the movie came out on the second DVD, and I'm seriously considering calling my boss and telling her I'm not coming in an hour early today just so I can watch it.

Not surprised. I've seen "real" hockey teams do it too. (Hell, I've seen a pissed-off coach make 'em skate a half hour of laps after playing a full game....) Good for start-stop control. But just watching it made my legs ache....

I used to have to do sprints like that when I was in basketball. I just about died, so just watching that scene makes my calves hurt.

I'd stop harrassing you about this, but they have these little introductions of the actors as they try out, and the guy who plays Jack O'Callahan skated up to the camera, started stripping, and said, "I'm Michael, and I'm going to get naked on camera."
