I say nothing. I just let the idiot's stupid statements speak for themselves. "Really, we're talking about France, aren't we?" *eye roll* (EDIT: I realize now that he reminds me of Snape in cleolinda's PoA in Fifteen Minutes, but replace "Werewolves werewolves werewolves!" with "9/11 9/11 9/11!" Ugh.)

Also, went shopping today to pick up a few new pairs of jeans -- Sears has size 7-short flares for twenty bucks that fit me perfectly -- and got this really, really pretty orange sweater (just light enough to wear during the summer ... yay!) and this swirly white skirt with pink flowers on the clearance rack that I simply must find a reason to wear, posthaste. I really need to win the lottery so that I can afford to shop at the level I qualify for. If they had this category in the Olympics, I'd have my own gold mine just for the medals. :)

I've been wearing Sears flares for the last couple of years. Pretty comfortable and I adore the way I can pull up kneesocks or lace up tall Docs under them even more easily than with bootcuts.

The Canyon River Blues jeans are the best. When I buy them in short size, I don't have to roll them up at the bottoms. I think that may be the first time I've ever been able to do that with jeans I've just bought off the rack without wearing 3-inch heels with 'em.

Well, I had to wear them with a belt to yank them up to my waist, at least until they'd been shrunk by a few washes (can't stand hiphuggers), but I wore that first pair continuously until they started to rip at the outer thigh seams. Then I bought a new pair and hung on to the old ones (now festively repaired with sloppy red stitching) for laundry days.
