[livejournal.com profile] jenboo, this made me think of you. I'm sure you can understand why. :)

Also, Slim-Fast fired Whoopi Goldberg for making a crack using Bush's name as a reference to a vagina. Well, Jesus, who hasn't?

So, picked up Reign of Fire, The Matrix, and Dante's Peak yesterday to add to the review pile. So now I've got a huge review pile and I, Robot to see this weekend to go with it.

Urgh. You know, I'm trying to cut soda out of my diet, just because the last thing I need to eat is more crap, and all it's doing is making me tired and rundown all the goddamn time. I should probably just have one, because cutting myself off cold turkey from stuff like this have never worked before, so why should it now? At the very least, the deli next to my job sells grape-strawberry Tropicana Twisters and Gatorade, so at least I don't have to resort to getting tempted at work. (Especially considering milk makes me sick, water nearly always has a funny aftertaste unless it's Aquafina, and there aren't any juices I can stand to drink constantly.)

I also ran into someone yesterday on the bus who a.) knew what my LOTR tattoo was, b.) was a total fangirl, and c.) had heard of me online. That was weird. Cool, but weird. Then again, I don't care who you are, it's always weird when you tell someone in conversation "I'm Troll Princess," and they go, "You're Troll Princess?!" instead of "Excuse me, I have to call the psychiatric hospital for your ride." Also, I think we scared the rest of the bus by talking loudly about LOTR RPS and those suggestive photos of the actors, and randomly shouting "Proof!" and pointing at one another.

Reign of Fire-is that the dragon movie with Christian Bale? Oh, that's going to be a blast to review!

What is your LOTR tattoo? I like tattoos.

And how exactly did the subject of online names come up??

I have the Elvish inscription from the One Ring in two lines in a band around my left arm. It turned out absolutely gorgeous. (Even if nearly everyone who sees it thinks it's Arabic.) I also have a pentacle on my shoulder, a symbol for protection (that really just looks like a fancy 4) on the back of my neck, and Poe's signature on my lower back. I adore tattoos. :)

As For online names, that came up when we got to talking and realized we frequented a lot of the same websites.

That's awesome. I have a gecko on my lower back and I have three ladybugs on my left foot (two on my foot, one on my ankle).

I'm planning to get the Aquarian symbol next but I'm not sure where. My friend is just getting into tattooing - his brother has been doing it for years. They think I should get my Aquarian symbol on the back of my neck, but I'm not sure I want it that exposed.

Tattoos are awesome!

I was thinking about getting a Libra tattoo, but I don't really like the symbol for Libra all that much. I think my next tattoo is going to be a Siamese cat, because I love Siamese cats and also to drive my mom bonkers. (And hopefully, a wee bit jealous. ;))

When a friend talked me into getting my first one, she warned me it'd be addictive, but she never said it'd be this addictive. And it's not even all that painful. The only one I've gotten that hurt at all were the Poe signature (which just about killed me) and the underarm part of the LOTR tat.

I was warned when I got my first one too. And it actually took me about 7 years before I got my ladybugs - but it was because I was pretty broke.

I'm not terribly crazy about the Aquarius symbol (it's only two wavy lines) but my friend is going to try drawing some stuff up to go with it so we'll see.

When I got my foot done everyone was telling me how the foot is one of the most painful places but it barely hurt.

My mom made an offhand comment a few weeks ago about wanting an angel on her shoulder, so now I have my friend drawing some stuff up for her, I told her I'll pay for it before I get my next one just cause I think it would be cool.

I thinks it's kind of cute. Make it a really nice shade of blue and it'll be keen.

Am using "keen" too much today. *wants a nap*

I was actually planning on going with purple (y'know - the whole amethyst being Feb birthstone thing).

Then my friend suggested doing it a few shades off my skin tone so it would look like a "tan" - but I'm not sure if that would work.

But then people will wonder why you have funny-colored squiggly lines on you. At least if it's blue, it's clear that it's water. (A single sentence should not have that many "it's".)

I'm so pathetic. I'm trying to live vicariously through other people's tattoos. ;)

You picked a hell of a day to give up soda?

Oh, c'mon! You were thinking the same line! Admit it.

my friend [livejournal.com profile] prettiekittie came to town and got to meet my friend [livejournal.com profile] poppymoon, and without hesitation I introduced one to the other with LJ names. Tsk tsk on me, LOL.

In other news, I must make sure you of all people click on the lj cut in my lj. I found a children's book that made me laugh harder than I have in a while, and I know you'd like it too.

i thought i was the only one who thought that about water. aquafina is my fav, i like evian (although it's a little sweet) and i can drink the generic bottled water that my parents buy, but only when i'm eating food, so i don't notice it as much.

i can't believe i have this many thoughts on water.
