Just got back from Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle, where I learned the following:

1. Neil Patrick Harris is a GOD. And yes, the capitals are needed.
2. Wilson Phillips' "Hold On" can be cool. No, seriously.
3. Kai Penn has a nice ass, and John Cho is really, really hot.
4. I could really go for some White Castle right now. *stomach growls*

In summation, very funny (albeit brainless) movie.

Also, stopped over in Suncoast again due to my having a $10 gift certificate from the Replay thing. (Woohoo!) And I'd like to reiterate my stance that full-screen movies should be gathered together in the back of the store on an "Embarrassing Films" rack right next to every Kelsey Grammer movie and all of the porn.

Oh, and I have a six pack of Smirnoff Triple Black. This weekend's looking up. :)

*crosses fingers and hopes for a slightly tipsy post from trollprincess in the next few hours*
...because somehow instead of getting maudlin, incoherent or boring, you only get funnier :)

Given your tolerance, what happens to the other five after you are more sheets to the wind than Jack Sparrow?

Yesyesyes buy Assassins. It's goodish Sondheim, which means it's amazingly brilliant instead of so sublimely brilliant you want to build a temple to the man. (That would be stuff like Sweeney Todd.) I saw the Broadway production the day before it closed, and it was just spectacular. Joe Mantellois so filled with wonderfullness I don't know where to start.

So I'll stop right there, before my Sondheim freakiness scares everyone. Neil Patrick Harris has probably the heaviest singing role out of all the cast members, so you'll like it at least for that.

And now I have to see Harold and Kumar Go to White Caste. :)

Assassins is more my speed than Harold and Kumar... which I'll probably skip.

Neil Patrick Harris was awesome in Assassins but, then, so was everyone else. And I can't wait for the cast recording.

I'd just like to note how amusing it's been to read my friends page, seeing your posts in reverse order only to get to this one where you first got the booze.

Kind of like a drunken Memento.

Oh yes. Harold and Kumar is like the good crack man. Who cares about the brainless? As long as it's as funny as hell, who needs redeeming value? *heh*

Yes, Neil Patrick Harris is god, but he's god because he's playing Lee Harvey Oswald in 'Assassins' on Broadway.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, it's true. Doogie Howser killed JFK.

Saw the flick last night at 9:45... and there just happens to be a White Castle right across the street from the movie theater. Yup, that place was packed around 11:30.
