Chapters done: 8
Well, I'm nearly done with another chapter, so that's good. And a little bit of it, just 'cause:
With no place to go and no way to get there, I sat down on the nearest tree stump and waited.
An hour later, I wish I'd brought a magazine.
Two hours later, I wished I'd brought a book.
Three hours later, I would have given my left kidney for a copy of the Encyclopedia Britannica. It wouldn't have much of a plot and I doubt I'd get any further than the first page, but I'd at least know everything I'd ever wanted to know about aardvarks.
