Does anybody else find it as amusing as I do that they're finally putting Al Pacino and Christopher Walken in the "Gigli" commercials as an act of desperation? Twenty bucks says they're both real pissy and grumbly right now and Chris owes Al a nice crisp twenty.
I'm also giggly about the critic's comment that's attached to the ads -- "original ... with an interesting twist!" What you miss out on is the editing that they did to change it from, "Originally, J.Lo got her fiancee to do this movie with an interesting twist of the 'nads!" (Yes, my "Gigli" hatred knows no bounds. Well, until it meets the place where it gets to my Dubya hatred, my Hildi and Kia hatred, and my hatred of Necco wafers. Someday, someone will explain to me why slivers of sidewalk chalk make good snacks. Eww.)
I also think that Robert Verdi from "Surprise by Design" describing a tray of pineapples as "the fruitiest thing ever" is today's official definition of irony.
