Dear Bill O'Reilly,

If you really don't want people to think you're a sexist pig, maybe you might not want to say that neither of your female "co-hosts" would know who Martin Short is. Martin Short's not that obscure an actor, you know, and regardless of their politics, neither one of them is that stupid.

Also, stop using the phrase "bomb-throwers". You're grating enough without sounding so bloody paranoid.

It sounds as if a lot of people like Teresa when she speaks her mind (bitchy or not). I recall the first interview I saw with both of them, and while I found Kerry fine, it was really *Teresa* who I liked best. Had the same reaction to Bill and Hilary, for that matter.

Urgh, that moron. I may not like hunting, but I'm certainly not going to knock on anyone who does it, as long as someone ends up using the carcass. My grandfather and uncle hunt all the time, and I can seriously remember opening the basement freezer at their house once and finding what looked like a squirrel wrapped in tin foil.

Another reason for me go back to chanting, "They both do it, so stfu," at O'Reilly. *sigh*

You ought to check out "Alexandra Pelosi's Diary of a Political Tourist" if you haven't already, just for some of the little touches. Like early in the race, when everyone was going, "Dean! Dean! OMG, Dead!", Kerry giving a speech in a field to like fourteen bored-looking people. And him wandering along somewhere else kicking at a rock with his shoe for like three minutes. And then the compare and contrast of Dean's plane to Kerry's plane. And Dennis Leary's presidential requirements. "Well... money. And a wife. Maybe a wife with money." And the documentary person asking one of the presidential candidates after those debates, "I want those two hours of my life back. Can you give me those two hours back?" and him saying, "When I'm elected president I will decree a twenty-six hour day just to give you those two hours back."

But Bush doesn't do that.

He gets the recs from other people who are "smarter" than he is, then he spouts them and makes you try to think that he believes it, most of the time.

Which is why he looks so stupid.
