EDIT: The more I read metaquotes these days, the more I start to think only longtime community members should be allowed to compile quotes. 'Cause it seems to be only the posters whose names I recognize who aren't screwing anything up.

The minute I stepped into the office today, my computer blew up. Helloooooooo, Monday.

Mine wouldn't even turn on. Turned out someone had flipped a whole bank of switches, disabling the three main outlets for staff computers. It took us an hour to figure this out, as no one who belongs in the department has any business opening the switchboxes, and we had no idea they would control this.

Monday. Blah. Monday needs to die.

No, no, metaquotes is fine the way it is, aside from the newbies. But that describes nearly every LJ community with newbies who don't bother to read the comm guidelines. :)
