In the name of NaNoWriMo and getting The Monsters of Minooka and The Walking Dead of Wilkes-Barre done and finished by the end of the year, I solemnly swear not to go to the movies or buy any more DVDs for the rest of the month.

No, seriously.

And anybody who knows me knows this is like anybody else declaring no more TV or books for the rest of the month. No new movies for the next three weeks? When so many great movies are coming out on DVD and in the theaters? During Oscar season?!

I finally killed my writer's block killed DEAD and I am not going to use up any writing time I could desperately use on the movies.

Grrr.

EDIT: Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. I wish my grandma thought it was okay for boys to like boys. But hey, my grandpa's cooler and he thinks it's okay, so there. :)

*sputters* But... but Alfie is just out! It's ripe for reviewing!

And Prisoner of Azkaban comes out on dvd later this month!

Dear god! Alexander comes out on the 24th! You HAVE to review that one. Although, I imagine it will still be out in December, no matter HOW bad it is.

I bow to your superior will-power.

Wow. You're *strong.* *applauds*

And my gramma thinks it's okay to like either sex, too. <3 my kickass Brazilian Hindu Unitarian grandma.

Would it make you feel better to know that my grandmother just bought a house with another woman, and my granfather frequents gay bars, and they both live in Texas?

Wow. That's determination. *thumbs up*

I can barely get myself to write a Poli Sci essay, let alone a novel. Oy.

It helps during NaNo. You get horribly, quietly competitive with everybody else. It's all the word count bars that get me. "Five days and 10k?! Fuck, I'm behind!" :)
