Am watching Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. That older son? Yeah, he's just about the coolest person on the PLANET.

EDIT: Awwwww. They sent them to the Somewhere in Time hotel. *officially dies of awwwwwwwww*

Seriously... this is one of the coolest shows ever. I love it so much. And I might set a record for crying with this particular episode.

I was crying within five minutes. Of course, it helps (if you even want to call it that) that everybody else on the show was crying and that sets me off.

What truly broke me was when Stefan broke down... he didn't cry that entire time, but what really drove home for him that his life was completely different was the thought of going to college. *wibble*

That kid deserved everything he got, and so much more. He was amazing. *sniffles*

I <3 that show so damn much.

Random: I missed the opener so I didn't know what city the family was in but like five minutes after I started watching I was certain it was eastern Michigan. That was just creepy.

I walked in the house tonight from work, and the TV was on to that show. I caught the last few minutes as they went showing them the new house. Without even watching the beginning, I was fucking BAWLING. Hiccups started with the scholarship thing.

I'm almost glad I didn't get to see the beginning.

*sighs*

Have you seen the episode with the family where there were three boys and the dad had been deployed to Iraq, so the house was just sort of in a state of hiatus until the dad got back, whenever that would be?

I'm sobbing right now just thinking about it. The show rocks.

He was about the sweetest thing ever - I wanted to hug him. Really, man, a decent 30-year-old trapped in a 14-year-old's body. And when he got his scholarship, I was seriously crying - I felt like an immense dork, but it was just so sweet to see in his eyes the realization that so many possibilities were opening up for him. A blatant attempt by ABC to pull at my heartstrings, and dammit, it worked. :)
