So I have the last chapter done, aaaaaaaand I just got the first chapter done. Now all I have to do is get the ones in the middle done and I'm all set. :)

My problem is I need to set up the plotting for the next chapters--otherwise the pacing is going to get hyperscrewed in the next couple of days. Here's to hoping I can get another five grand done today.

Or you could simple write a middle chapter that reads, "Events occurred."

Hmm... I have to write in a linear order... I would think filling in the middle would be pretty easy if you know where you're coming from and where you're going.

Exactly. :) Except now is the part where I skip around the middle and finish a chapter here and a chapter there until at last, on November 30th, I have 50,000 words and no idea what the hell is going on. (Granted, there will be something vaguely resembling a story come November 30th, I just have no doubt I'll have no idea how I got there.)
