Women Wrongly Warned Cancer, Abortion Tied

There's a billboard when you get off of one of the highway exits in northeastern PA that says "Abortion kills babies and hurts women." If I could blow up one thing on the planet with explosives, that'd be it.

Do people honestly...never mind. I'm giving people too much credit.

The meek can inherit the earth.

The rest of us need to pool our money, get Space Ship One mass produced and colonize a new planet.

'If I could blow up one thing on the planet with explosives, that'd be it.'

and when you do? i want a DVD copy of the video, filmed from several angles, including two in slow motion, and audio commentary from the director ('and here's me in my best Project Mayhem outfit rigging the charges'). :)

Why not set fire to it?

She dismissed the National Cancer Institute's findings as politically motivated and maintained that the link has been scientifically proven.

How does her head not explode from the cognitive dissonance?

Just a guess, I'm betting she's one of the 44% of Americans who are also creationists -- because evolution is "just a theory."

Joel Brind, a biochemist at Baruch College in New York who advises the Coalition on Abortion/Breast Cancer, noted that a woman's chances of getting breast cancer go down if she gives birth at a relatively young age. He reasons that those who opt for abortion are giving up a chance of reducing their breast cancer risk.

According to this logic, abstinence is a breast cancer risk.

Indeed.

I want to see that on a billboard.

Well, yeah. Lactation is suspected to lower breast cancer risk -- though I can't recall if there were any good studies done on it -- for the same reasons male masturbation is thought to decrease the risk of prostate cancer, in that certain cells in breast and prostate alike don't differentiate properly until the organ in question is used for its evolutionarily designed purpose, and may go cancerous in future if said purpose is never carried out

Needless to say, some groups are very very comfortable with preaching that wimmen need to be breeding babies and yet keep their mouths shut on the whole prostate thing. Go figure -- very odd for the Christian right to be preaching female health and ignoring male, considering their persistent belief in the subordination of the female...

So, blow it up.

Or, toss some Molotov cocktails (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Molotov_cocktail) at it. Billboard paper burns pretty easily. Err, so I am told.

Summon a hurricane with dark powers. Many billboards got their signs removed via hurricane.
