Okay, I wasn't going to say what I was going to give myself if I get the 50k for NaNoWriMo done, but I think I probably have to because I can't for the life of me find exactly what I'm looking for. So here's what I'm going to get -- a very small, very simple cartoonish Siamese kitten tattoo right above my hipbone. (Which I've been meaning to get for a while but just haven't had the time to do.)

So, the reason I say this is because I can't find exactly the right picture. Either it's too big or too detailed, both of which would make it waaaaay too expensive. (I'm only willing to go for two hundred bucks or so, considering the holidays and all.) That's why I'm telling you guys ... because I know a lot of you draw really well and I was hoping maybe one or two of you might be able to whip something up for me. And I know that if more than one person draws me a kitten, I can't get them all, but it at least gives me a better selection.

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeease? *bats eyelashes at artists on ye olde friends list*

There is an awful lot of cuteness on this page, so my advice is probably moot anyway, but I know when my friend when to get his tatoo they redrew what he brought them to something that was not only simpler in terms of non-expensive, but also something that was going to last longer in terms of how thick the lines were and what kind of shading and everything like that. So pick the one you want, the one you really want, and maybe a simpler second choice or some such, and see what the artist himself says. The one that my friend went to was happy to use a little creativity, so you never know.
