About how long after the crash did the guy escorting Kate on the plane die? And what time of day was it? I need to know for my goofy/serious crossover of doooooom.
It was night time. About two days after the crash. Sawyer shot him in the chest, and then Jack went into the tent and did something fatal (suffocation, maybe? Cut his throat. I think I remember blood.) And then, he was dead.
He was dying anyway. Sawyer was trying to be humane, but was dumb about it. His lungs were filling up with blood from the gunshot, so Jack helped speed up the process.
