I had way too much time on my hands yesterday, and I checked the journal out. It really is completely standard stuff, which makes it very unsettling. I don't know why, exactly, it just does.

And why hasn't LJ taken it down, I wonder? I also wonder if they'll have to open any private entries up to law enforcement...?

I'm no lawyer, but I would guess that LJ might not be allowed to take it down until the trial is over? *shrug* Or possibly they don't even know about it.

I don't know if they can do anything. Her criminal activities didn't involve LJ, so I don't know if she's done anything that would let them get involved. They may be leaving the journal up so investigators can get a thorough look at what's inside, and I think only the maintainer can freeze threads or delete comments. So LJ admins' hands may be tied on this matter, for now.
