apocalypsosYesterday I got my period. Today I have a cold. Tomorrow ... hell, I don't know. At this rate, I imagine I'll be losing a limb or turning into Jell-O or something. I don't think my body's breaking down so much as it's entering an intensely surrealistic stage. I'll call you when I start coughing up bunnies.
Urgh. I just want to curl up in bed and write Hurley fic, work on my novels, and watch Shaun of the Dead over and over again. Is that too much to ask?
In other news, went to Borders and picked up Stolen by Kelley Armstrong ('cause I read Bitten and now I'm hooked on Jeremy and Clay), another graph paper notebook (dude, if they'd had these notebooks when I was in high school, I would have never bought any other kind), and Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell, which is going to be a bitch to read on the Metro, but what the hell? I also had a gift certificate for Best Buy, so I picked up Collateral. I swear, eventually I'm going to get those damn LOTR extended editions if it goddamn kills me. (I should have known when I swore I was going to buy them all at once years ago that I wouldn't have any money when that time came. Sheesh.)

On the upside, if you can move fast enough, it's a choice weapon for self-defense (and, in the home, it fulfills Neil Gaiman's requirement for Great Art-- that it be big enough to stun a burglar).
