Did you ever get laid off from a job and come back later only to have everyone you work with practically fall all over you and beg you never to go away again? *maniacal cackle*

So, yeah, today was a good day. I went back to the old station today and spent half of the day with my co-workers fawning all over me, telling me that the girl who replaced me was a total slob and that if I ever left again, they were going to drop me in a vat of leeches. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, I took one look at the state she left the attempted deliveries room in and alternated between whimpering and proving that I can make that high-pitched yelp Nathan Lane kept doing in The Birdcage. I've had nightmares that began like that, and ended when I had to convince my co-workers that I really wasn't this anal-retentive in real life even if the only thing wrong with the room was that everything in the room was tilted slightly to the left.

That wasn't the only thing screwed up with the room, of course. I mean, for crying out loud. Is it that hard to keep everything organized? I wouldn't have been the least bit surprised if I'd walked into that room this morning and I found everything piled up in the center of the room because she'd built a fort before she'd left. (As it was, I started a half hour early because I couldn't sit in that room when it was that disorganized. Bah.)
