... the Pairing List is up. *maniacal cackle*

EDIT: The Exorcist just came on USA Network. Even being edited for TV ... oh, yeah, this is exactly what I need to watch right before bed. *eye roll*

... it's wrong that my first reaction to "Donatello (TMNT) / Doctor Emmet Brown (Back to the Future)" was 'OMG THAT WOULD SO WORK', right?

It's wrong that so many of those pairings elicit that reaction. (And that's already been called. I have GOT to read that when it's done. :))

There are so many GEMS on this list!

43. Boba Fett/Tucker Carlson (ex-Crossfire) -- Brillo. STAT. Gyah. *shudder*
114. Edward Scissorhands/llama!Kuzco (Emperor's New Groove)
163. Ivana Humpalot (Austin Powers)/The Cat in the Hat (Dr. Seuss)
183. Ned Flanders (The Simpsons)/Nightcrawler (X-Men)
186. Tyler Durden (Fight Club)/Harold Hill (The Music Man)
397. Mama Morton (Chicago)/Al Borland (Home Improvement)
457. Miguel (Road to El Dorado)/Harry Maybourne (Stargate SG-1)
458. Granny Weatherwax (Discworld)/Raphael (TMNT)
460. Crowley (Good Omens)/Radar O'Reilly (M*A*S*H)

I just give up now. All of these are so wrong, and yet somehow so right.

128. Norrington (PotC)/Jonas (Stargate SG-1)

And that would be so freaking hot. *rawr!*

Congratulations...

You've officially corrupted me. I've never written a fanfic in my life (though I was a popular beta-reader for two years), and yet I am about to enter the ranks of slashers everywhere. *twitch*

Not only that, but I could kiss your feet for some of those pairings. Freaking genius. You've seen/read all the fandoms that you selected from, or was it random? How were the choices made?

Oh, I can pretty much bet I don't know a third of those characters (although I've heard of nearly all of them, with the exception of some of the Japanese ones and things.)

The way it goes is, last weekend everybody who wanted to submitted a bunch of entries at a post on [livejournal.com profile] ithurtsmybrain, and then I printed them all out, cut them up, and just picked them out two-by-two. When I say I'm picking them out of a hat, I meant that pretty literally. (It's a baggie, not a hat, but still. ;))

Riight, I remember that now. The idea scared me but I think I closed the window before I took a closer look, and promptly forgot about it. *joins community in a puddle of sweat and grins stupidly*

Brain it HURTS. I hadn't heard of this challenge, and now I'm very tempted by it.

Plus, I want to make complicated musical parallels. I have to start writing some Real Classical Composer Slash so the popslash people aren't alone in their depravity.
