Where the hell was I when Hugh Laurie got cast as Perry White in the new Superman movie?! Why isn't every House fan on my friends list having spastic fits? You know, of the good kind. Because, DUDE. Hugh Laurie is awesome. (Okay, admittedly, that story's about the guy who's playing Jimmy Olsen, who just for the record played the kid in "Jungle 2 Jungle".)

In other news, somewhere between the exercise, cutting soda out of my diet, and not eating so much crap, I think I'm actually getting in shape. You know, considering it's a whole month into the year and I'm still working on what could possibly be construed as my New Year's resolution, I'm pretty proud of myself. :)

Yeah, Hugh Laurie's in Superman and Stephen Fry's in Hitchhiker's Guide (well, his voice is). Kind of a perk for the old-school Fry/Laurie fans. :)

Dude! How did I miss this one? I love Hugh Laurie. My personal favourite Laurie role is the Prince Regent in Blackadder the Third, but everything he does rocks.
A slightly weird choice for Perry White, I feel, but I'm sure he can make it work. And I'm still getting my head around the whole Lois Lane not being played by Teri Hatcher thing, so don't mind me. I'll just be over here in the corner with the other three people whose first experience of superman was the 90s TV series. It was on on BBC1 on Saturday mornings immediately before the kids TV kicked in... arg, stop me, I'm going all nostalgic.

Because Superman is boring. Even with Hugh Laurie and James Marsden, I still can't get myself to care. It's a bird, it's a plane, it's the superhere with self righteous convictions who see the world in black and white...you know that's exactly how Bush sees himself.

Good point. Although I'm still trying to give it credit because Singer's directing, but aside from Hugh Laurie, I'm really not finding anything else to get thrilled about. Now, on the other hand, the casting for Batman Begins ... *wolf whistle*

Yeah, Singer is the one who has me half convinced to watch the movie. Maybe.

The cast of Batman Begins is great. Besides, it's the Bat. He lurks in the shadows, he fights his inner evil, he is Angel... Ooops wrong show. LOL Seriously, though, I can't wait for this movie.
