Well, I've gotten a good 3k words done so far today, which ... yay, not bad. I haven't finished any chapters yet, but that's mostly because I've been bounding around writing dialogue like mad. At the very least, I want to get Chapter Seven done already, because for some ungodly reason, that's the one that's blocking me. Urgh.

In any event, instead of the whole watching-The 4400 thing I was going to do as a reward, I'm seriously starting to contemplate going to the National Zoo tomorrow if I get 10k or five chapters finished. Because first they had tiger cubs, and now there are incredibly adorable cheetah cubs. Plus, it's supposed to be about fifty degrees here tomorrow, which I can handle, no problem. And if I get photos of any of the cubs, I am so posting 'em. (Or better yet, video. Because my digital camera has a video thingy on it. *bounces up and down happily* Hee. I love my electronic toys.)

In other news, I have Smirnoff Triple Black for the Super Bowl. Mmm, tasty.

EDIT: You know what's scary? I think it's a moral imperative that I go see Constantine. Either it'll turn out to be better than the crap we think it'll be, or it'll be exactly the same level of crap we're anticipating, which'll make it quality Q&A review fodder.

Last year for Valentine's Day/three month anniversary, my then-boyfriend got me out the back of the local wildlife park to see the servals and whatnot that weren't on public display...and the lion cubs that hadn't been officially announced yet. I died of cute...

Yay baby kitties! I think the zoo would definately beat out the 4400, although that is a great mini series. Is it playing, or have they put it on DVD yet?

It's on DVD already, and it's only about twenty-five bucks, too. Not bad for what ended being a much better show than I thought it might turn out to be. :)
