Okay, I'm sick of reading extraordinarily amateurish Lost fic on the fic comms lately. Somebody rec me some good Lost fic, any pairing. I feel all deprived. *whimper* (And where the hell did my Sayid icon go, damn it? I didn't delete it! Argh. At least I've got it lying around here somewhere ...)

In other news, I've spent this morning working on the almost-sex-scene chapter of Monsters of Minooka. Gyah. Now I'm going to go into work all turned on. Blech.

Sorry I've no recs to share, just a question for you. What font do you use on your icons? I like it and it always turns out so nice and crisp.

I end up using Century Gothic and Arial a lot. Of course, I'm using Paint, which means I end up sitting there outlining the letters myself, but whatever works. :)

I really need to stop reading any Lost fics that feature the warning, "This is my first fic, so be nice!" Usually, I don't, I'm just deprived and ... ARGH. *grumblegrumble* Charlie can tell Claire he loves her, but what kind of idiot immediately goes into labor, has the baby, and then lets him name the baby and share the last name? *hits things*

At this rate I'm sorely tempted to start a Lost ficathon with good authors just to get some decent fic during the hiatus. If only I knew how to run one, that might help.

I really *like* Charlie/Claire, but some of the Charlie/Claire fic out there is so BAD. They make me actually hate the pairing.

I crave recs too - especially anything Sawyer-centric. I dug up a not-too-bad one on a Lost fanfic archive the other day. This, however, was after wandering through THIRTY BAD ONES. *twitch* Almost wasn't worth it. I'll see if I can dig up the link for you when I get home from work, but I gotta head off now.
