She's one of the few recappers left on there I still like. I was all happy that the Lost recaps were being written by Sobell, but apparently it was a temporary thing and that hateful jerk Daniel is back to the Lost recaps this week. Bah. "Without pity" is one thing, "with a great big heap of malice added for good measure" is another thing entirely.
I totally agree. Gustave, who used to recap 24, banned me for complaining about him on a message board that was completely unrelated to TWoP. Somehow he had found what I said and banned me. He was very much like Daniel in regards to his recaps.
Dan Kwa wasn't too bad, but Daniel is awful. I swear, the only other recaps I follow religiously anymore are for a show I love (TAR) and a show I loathe (7th Heaven) for the main reason I won't read Daniel's recaps anymore -- because they're hateful and they're not funny.
She and Couch Baron (who does Veronica Mars) are the only recappers I can stand. It's so much better to read when the recapper has such a pure love for the show.
Just a thought, but I read theferrett's recent post about rewriting movie scripts so they would be worthy of Oscars (http://www.livejournal.com/users/theferrett/461945.html), and I thought of you and your fic-slashdom lunacy followers. Might a community be raised from his idea?
