Fanfic Author Appreciation Week

March 6 through March 13

Post to your LJ each day at least one of your favorite fanfic authors and why you love them, their work, and why they need more appreciation.

I've been trying to pick just one all night long (ah, the mental incapacities joys of being a Libra) and I finally settled on poilass. Poi's a reminder for me of the days way back when I was sneaking around reading everything I could on Subreality and any related site I could find and not joining in because I was too chicken. And there's tons of stuff I could rec, but I have GOT to rec First, Do No Harm. Every once in a while, I go back and read it, and every damn time, I alternate between giggling hysterically at Bobby and Hank and crying so hard my face is soaked. It's typical Poi -- when you're supposed to laugh, you can't stop, and when you're supposed to cry, it just hurts.

Oh, man ... I have to come up with another writer tomorrow, don't I? *sigh* This is hard.

I think that's one of the few pictures from when I was a kid that I don't have pigtails. When I say I looked like Bubbles from the Powerpuff Girls when I was a kid, it's pretty accurate. :)

I won;t post it in my lj as I am a lazy git about myown journal but here is my higly recommended Buffy fanfic author and good friend of mine Chris Kenworthy from Toronto, Canada. He was able to put together a brilliant Round Robin fic group (Each person takes a turn adding to the story). I had a few parts in it and it ran for a while before we had too many characters and the storyline started getting too jumbled up and confusing.

He also has his own individual stories that you may enjoy.
