Mar. 16th, 2005 05:30 pmI'm bored. You know that meme where you ask me any five questions within reason and I answer 'em? Let's do that. *yawns*
EDIT: *looks down at self* Ick. I'm all covered in dust from carrying dirty boxes all day. 'Wear dress pants all week,' Lumbergh says. Sheesh.

Date: 2005-03-16 10:48 pm (UTC)2) How many involve Hugh Jackman?
3) How did you develop your style of writing?
4) For that matter, how did you develop your sense of humor? If anyone else wrote the things you do, it doesn't seem nearly as funny/clever.
5) What was the last movie you watched?

Date: 2005-03-17 01:14 am (UTC)2. Only the X-Men movies, alas. The man needs to make better films. (Although I've nearly bought Someone Like You more than once solely for the boxers scene. Mmmm, boxers.)
3. I blame fanfiction. I wrote in high school, but it was all this serious, humorless stuff that wasn't bad. It just didn't have any life to it. But then I got to college, got online, and got into the Highlander fandom, and I finally figured out (over time) that I could have a little fun with it and just be silly. So now I just let myself be all snarky and jokey, and it works a lot better.
4. Hmm. Maybe that last answer should have been for this one. I think it's just partly learning to let myself say the first thing that came to mind and partly not letting myself be embarrassed by anything I say anymore. (Which were my two major problems in high school. When they revoked the death penalty for teenagers, I heard some guy on the radio say something like how most teenagers don't have their adult personalities yet, and I was like, "Dude, WORD.") That might not be the answer you're looking for, but ... *shrug* Man, I suck at this question.
5. Ooo, ooo! I watched my Incredibles DVD this morning! (Thank God, because otherwise my answer would be Deadly Harvest.)
