apocalypsos: (brothers)

God, watching that footrace in the Previouslies makes me soooo happy. :)

Damn, I miss Ryan and Chuck.

That is the cutest little village.

She brought a copy of the Bible with her on the race? Ooo-kay.

Rob says they have no friends left like they actually started out with any friends.

Uchenna's father is Nigerian? That's so awesome.

"We're good, honest players, we're just sneaky"? Okay, Alex, sure you are.

"Big bucks, big bucks, no whammies!" BWAHAHA. Love those boys.

"I've seen so many sunrises with you."
"Yeah. We should be dating." I'm sorry, can I just keep a brother? Just one. Either one, it doesn't matter.

Hee! Ostriches!

Lynn and Alex can be cool when they're not whining.

It's official in my opinion. Kelly owns not a single complimentary tank top.

Oh, I'd so milk a goat. Just warm up your hands, coo to get it to behave, and milk away.

Jesus, Ron, just because she can do ballet doesn't mean she can balance a bucket on her head. Sheesh.

Oh, boys. You're so getting eliminated tonight, aren't you? *sigh* (Okay, I spoiled myself during the commercial break, and goddamn it.)

Hee. Rob finally did completely crappy at a challenge.

Haven't these people ever watched someone milk a cow? And I'm not even talking in person. I grew up in cow country, and I still haven't seen anyone do it in person, but I could still do it.

Gretchen knows how to milk?

People, pinch at the top and squeeze downward. And these are girl goats. Stop calling them "boys" or "he".

"Here's a goat with nice big teets." Hee.

"It's just like modeling." BWAH,

"Uchenna and Joyce are born to do that." Seriously. I couldn't do that. (EDIT: You know, I knew the second I heard that that some people were understandably going to take it as a bigoted comment, but I seriously don't think Lynn meant it that. I think he was just badly phrasing the same thing I was thinking, which was, "Daaaaamn! They're really good at that!" Whereas wander over to the TWoP board and you'd think the words "breeding and breeding" had passed his lips. *sigh* I swear, I don't know anymore with some of these teams the last couple of seasons.)

I swear to God Ron and Kelly just met five minutes before the start of the game. *sigh*

WOW. Uchenna and Joyce are awesome! And he opened the door for her.

"How many gay guys does it take to milk a goat?" Ten bucks for anyone who comes up with the punchline. :)

It's sad when Rob and Amber's assessment of Ron and Kelly is dead on like that. But seriously, I think that's my biggest problem with the possiblity of them winning is that they act as if they've never even met or talked to one another before, like somebody tossed their names together in casting.

WOW. Elephants!

Hee! Zebras!

Go, oldsters! Meredith and Gretchen are doing a fabulous job, considering.

Man, I'm going to miss my boys. *sniffle*

See, this is what bothers me ... that Rob and Amber can act like such assholes to the other teams but when it comes down to their ability to play the game, I wouldn't be able to fault it if they won.

Oh, Uchenna. You need to take the whole post.

Hee! Giraffes! (You've got to give Meredith and Gretchen credit for just enjoying seeing the animals. The same for Brian and Greg.)

You know, if Ron did say "Shut the fuck up," it might be rude, but I can't really blame him."

Between Gretchen and Lynn, I like how supportive the two of them are managing to be to their significant others.

Kelly is displaying one too many KKKendra-esque qualities.

And all the animals? They're killing me here. I want to go, damn it! This would be so much fun!

See? This is why I can't let any annoyance I have with Rob and Amber get to me. Because even if I have to do so reluctantly sometimes, I have to admit that they're a great team.

Oh, no! Uchenna, damn it! *headsmack*

Lynn can be amazingly sweet when the words "Rob" and "Amber" are not coming out of his mouth.

What the hell is with people misreading every goddamn clue tonight?

Gregory Michael! Hee! I still love the brothers, even if they're so going away, sadly.

BWAH. Alex putting on all his clothes was the best thing ever, UNTIL that double "WHAT?!" Which I so need to icon, posthaste. (And I just rewound that and replayed it about a dozen times. HEE!) God, I hope to God they didn't plan that. *snerk* The redemption of My Gay Boys. *bounces up and down happily*

GODDAMN IT. We're losing the best fucking team. I'm so pissed. Look at those outfits! That's so unfair. They have the best sense of humor on the show. *unhappy sigh*

Aw, Phil broke his poker face. And Brian and Greg did it. Damn. Now I'm all depressed.

Next week: Kelly continues to be bitchy, and Meredith and Gretchen continue to be quietly awesome.

I totally agree: Team Queen is actually pretty fun when Lynn isn't obsessing over Rob. And vice-versa. Frankly, the both of them act like they used to date until the horrificly bad breakup.

And the Synchronized Expressions of Shock? Classic!

*snerk* Exactly. I wish someone would have said something like that to them during filming, because I'm pretty sure that would have shut them both up. ;)

I know! Then again, it's probably a good thing, considering all of their screencaps tonight seem to have that stupid huge weather advisory in the corner.

True. Of course, it can be cropped out, depending on the shot.

Probably with simultaneous "EW!"s and scrunchy faces, thereby strengthing the argument. :-)

Actually, I think what Ron said was "chill out for a second", and Kelly, in the car and obviously unfamiliar with Ron and his ways, heard "shut the fuck up".

The Gay Boys were very cute for a couple moments tonight, and they were very supportive of one another, but they really pissed me off by calling the older team "stupid". They just seem so arrogant sometimes, and it bugs me.

I will miss my brothers, though. *sniffle*

It's midrace when the tired stupids start kicking in. The teams are tired and making stupid mistakes.
I like the brothers too, but read the whole clue. Sending two teams back for making minor mistakes, again the tired, jet-lag factor is kicking in, I think.
I like Rob and Amber. I can't help it. Everyone other team is tired, making mistakes, and Rob seems to thrive like some sort of vampire. The more tired others get the more he shines. I guess that's what comes of being Teh Evil ;>

I do like Rob and Amber, although sometimes they drive me nuts. But it's like I pointed out in [livejournal.com profile] drewbeartx's LJ last night. I think I realized last night that when Rob is being an ass to another team or team member (My Gay Boys, Kelly), it's because they're already being an ass to him or they're being an ass to someone else. He treats locals with respect, he treats Amber with respect, and he treats the other teams with respect until they turn on on him. I don't know if it's because he wants to be justified or because it's a defense mechanism, but still.

Not only that, but he's seriously playing to the camera the same way that Lynn and Alex do when they gay it up and the way Ron does when he brings up Baghdad and the army once an episode. And right now, we're at a point where none of these teams are really bad racers. The closest we've got to bad Racers right now are Meredith and Gretchen, and for any of the mistakes they've made, they're still the older team and they're just chugging along. Admittedly, not in first, but still.

Do I have a deep, abiding love for the rest of the teams like I did for the brothers? Well, Uchenna and Joyce are the closest to that. Meredith and Gretchen are a close second, because I admire their moxie. If any of the other teams won, I might not have liked some of their behavior, but I don't think any of it was really bad enough to where I want the million dollars kept from them for being assholes like I did with Freddy and Kendra (especially Kendra ... blech).

You know, sometimes I'm glad I missed Flo, and sometimes I wish I hadn't so I could know just how bad she was.

Take every helpless girl/harpy nail-on-chalkboard cliche, square it and you have Flo.

I keep meaning to go back and read the TWoP summaries for that season.

I love TWoP. I wish they still did Trading Spaces, oh well, I even read the summaries for shows I don't watch just because I know they'll be interesting (some times more interesting than the show itself)
