apocalypsos... because I'm once again bored out of my mind. Argh.

Date: 2003-08-25 02:29 pm (UTC)I've done too many embarrassing things to pick one as the most. A random embarrassing moment, however, is me, plastered, passing out on the futon of a bearded lady and, upon regaining consciousness, howling off-key renditions of IRA ballads at the top of my lungs.

Driving down Highway 1. And I wasn't even behind the wheel.

Also under the influence of alcohol, I once made penis-shaped cookies on New Year's Eve and handed them out to little old ladies on the streetcar. (On my way to a punk show that was attended by the Hell's Angels.)
4. Who is the most famous person you've ever met?
Mainstream famous: I went to high school with the Young Darth Vader, Hayden Christensen.
Cool famous: I met Allen Ginsberg, beat poet, visionary, and NAMBLA member, about a month before his death.
5. If the world were going to end at midnight tonight, what would you spend the rest of the day doing?
Apocalypse Agenda
6 PM: Begin phoning everyone I know who has made a difference in my life. Tell them why.
8 PM: Detour to the liquor store to pick up a nice bottle of vintage red.
8:30 PM: Dinner. Crepes with fresh raspberries and a white Godiva martini.
10 PM: Sex. Lots of it. In many different positions.
11 PM: Retire to a hilltop with a good view of the end of the world. Hang out with some good friends, drinking the wine, and celebrate Armageddon.

The Totally Naked Men contingent at Pride Day.
7. If you were signing up for "The Amazing Race", who would you want to be the other person in your team, where would you hope that you could go in the world, and what do you think your team would be known as ("The Engaged Couple", "The Virgins", "The Gay Marrieds", etc.)?
Hmmm...I've never watched "The Amazing Race". But in general,

Again, I've never seen it. But I'd sign up my friend Ronald to do the makeovers. He's the gay Asian Martha Stewart, without the insider trading.
9. If you could be any character in any book, movie, TV show, etc., who would you be and why?
Mack the Turtle (Yertle the Turtle, Dr. Seuss)
Why? Because he throws off the yoke of turtle imperialist oppression and spends the rest of his life dicking around in a pond. How cool is that?
Upon considering the answer to this question, I've realized that most of the characters in books, movies, TV shows, etc. that I identify with, admire, love all lead more tragic and angsty lives than I would want for myself.

"Movie (Never Made)" by A Silver Mt. Zion. We have the alienated secular Jew thing, the anarchist thing, the morbid obsession thing, the tragic death of a beloved pet thing, and lovely music to boot.
