Gabrielle: Hee. Watching Gabrielle throw up in the car was far too amusing. I did feel a little sorry for her about not realizing she was pregnant, though. And complaining that she's on the pill is stupid, since she should know damn well they're not a hundred percent dependable. "Well, not this one. I vomited in this one." BWAH. I loved that line.

Just in general, the whole pregnancy thing is hysterical to me. I figured Gabrielle would flip out, but there is something about this that is bloody fabulous. I'll give her credit, though -- at least she realizes she'd be a crappy mother. Pointing out that both she and Carlos are too self-centered is scary, because it's true and I'm amazed she's smart enough to understand that. There's something pretty cool about the fact that that she said not that she didn't want a baby, but that she said she'd be a horrible mother. It redeems her a little in my mind. She knows she's self-centered and she'd be a bad mother, which is different than Carlos because she's right -- he is self-centered and doesn't know it. To be honest, after the way she reacted in the episode, I'm not so sure she would be a bad mother. She was actually acting with some real maturity for most of the episode. (Well, more than she's ever shown, in any event.)

And, YAY! She figured out Carlos fucked with her pills and smacked him in public. He so totally deserves worse, but I'll take it. Well, at least she got to talk about the truth of it with Susan.

Lynette: Okay, I liked the elevator backstory sequence. That was kind of funny. But her behavior about the whole ex-girlfriend issue was way out of line. It's one thing to be jealous, it's another thing entirely to let it intrude on Tom's job. Shut up, Lynette.

And HEE. I think I like Ex-Girlfriend better than Lynette. That bit about breaking up a relationship being more Lynette's speed was too freaking perfect. The best thing about consulting with Edie and throwing the party was when both Tom and the baby gave her a double-take. *snerk* I've got to love the Brat Patrol, though, for screwing it up. "Mom told us to." *giggles* I kind of feel sorry for Lynette for what Tom said, but since I agree with him, I'm not sure how genuine that sympathy is.

Susan: Bwahahahaha. That bit with baby Julie rolling off the couch? My mother did that with me, except I rolled off the changing table. And then I looked up at her with this smile on my face, like, "I have the dumbest mom. Hee!" I do feel sorry for her, though. Yes, she got hit in the face with a bunch of pebbles, but this time, it wasn't so much her fault as Zach's.

Mike's protective vibe with warning Susan away from Paul was actually kind of sexy. I'm not a big Mike lover, but still ... mmm. And yet she still went over to Paul's house to talk about Angela. That woman needs a babysitter like crazy.

I feel sorry for Julie. She's the sanest person on Wisteria Lane and she has to deal with Psycho the Dorky Stalker.

And oh, my GOD, is Susan's mother dense. I mean, obviously it was Paul's fault (or, ACK, Zach's fault), but still. And YAY! Richard Roundtree's back! *happy dance*

Bree: ACK. Creepy George! "Oh, my heavenly days!" *snerk* Only Bree can talk like that. That whole conversation between the three of them was just all weird. But just like every other Van De Kamp conversation, I enjoyed every minute of it.

Once again, Bree's wearing a gorgeous sweater. That light blue V-neck was just lovely. "And you still don't know when I need you to lie." Awwww. Poor Bree. And then that orange shirt was just ... damn. She looks picture-perfect in everything. And Bree, don't be clueless. Creepy George is terrifying. Why can't you see that? "It's not a wedding, it's a commitment ceremony." Fuck off, Creepy George.

And that lovely celery-colored dress! I want to raid her wardrobe so very, very badly. But good for Rex, shoving Creepy George into the pool.

Zach and Paul: Throwing pebbles at a girl's window like that when she's told you no is creepy, Zach. Stop it. And so was bringing Susan the flowers. But, HA! Zach's adopted! Who didn't see that coming? I've also got to love the fact that as bitchy as Felicia can be, she seems genuinely concerned about Zach and what happens to him. And I still stand by my Mike-being-Zach's-real-father theory. It seems like it might be a veiled hint, that both of them are chasing Mayer women, and plus, there was that scene way back when when Mike took Zach back over to his house and handed him off to Paul. It just seemed to me like something simple that had to mean something. That was basically all they did in that scene, so why was it needed in the episode?

Of course, the scene in the kitchen just ... GAH. That family is fucked UP. Paul's bad, but I'm starting to wonder whether Zach's the way he is because his birth mother was nuts or because Paul's nuts. Either way, he's screwed.

Edie: I know I'm probably supposed to hate Edie for tattling on Susan, but HA. And I loved the shot of her and Felicia standing off to the side just being catty at the party.

Also, you know why Miss Alli over at TWoP is awesome? Because she referenced "Eighteen Wheels on a Big Rig" in this week's TAR recap. That's why.

*whimpers* How come none of the DJs I listen to talk about Desperate Housewives (or Lost or TAR)? The only ones I listen to are Don and Mike, and all they talk about are 24 and American Idol, both of which I don't like.

*gasps* How could you NOT like 24?!? I dunno. The ones I listen to in the morning talk about Desperate Housewives, TAR, Survivor and American Idol. Not so much Idol as the others. They interview the people who got phillimiated from TAR and Booted from Survivor.
