*Tell* me about it. Seasons 1 & 2 kicked ass. I loved Boone, and early!Liam... it all started to go to hell when he uttered that line about "becoming more human" in S3, though. But I stuck it out until I finally gave up in disgust in early S5. Bah!

I remember reading an interview with Majel where she declared that the fans had always felt that the Shaqs were the problem with Liam and they were going to make him more human to make the fanbase happier. And I remember looking at the screen and going, "...*looks self up and down* Apparently not part of the fanbase, then."

Dude, his alien-ness is what made him cool. Although yes, it was entirely possible that that aspect of his character could have been taken too far. So instead they... veer off in the other direction and take it to the *opposite* extreme? Great move there.
