You know when you're at work, and you reach that point where you're so overwhelmed with work that you just can't even begin to feel stressed about it anymore? Yeah, I'm waaaaaaaay past that point for today. (Right now, I should have maybe one full rack of packages to fix. I have three. *whistles the same song as Elle in Kill Bill Vol. 1*)

In other news, I got my dad on the phone today after way too long without talking to him, and we got to talking about our mutual addictions to Desperate Housewives. *snerk* He sounds so giddy talking about it, and remember, this is a guy who bears a striking resemblance to Homer Simpson. It's just a weird mental image. ;) He missed the first ten minutes last night, so then I had to explain what I could remember. Then I told him my Mike-is-Zach's-real-father theory, which got him all hyper and excited. HEEEEEEE. He's such a goofball. *g*

EDIT: Also, it appears as though my parents will be too busy picking up their new Mini-Cooper to come visit this weekend. You know, the theory is they will come eventually, right? *eye roll* ;) (I did inform them of when the DC LJ meet-up was so they could avoid coming that weekend, so at least I don't have to worry about missing that.)

I reached the "not caring anymore" point at work ages ago. And my occasional resurges of interest (or guilt at slacking at work) tend to be swamped when they appear.
