May. 4th, 2005 01:12 pmSee, now this is a meme I can do. :)
1) Total number of films you own:
I checked last night after I updated my DVD list, and it's at 243 DVDs. Of course, some of those are TV show box sets, but still.
2) The last film I bought:
Well, I bought A Series of Unfortunate Events and Unbreakable on my last trip to the DVD store. :)
3) The last film watched at home:
Ooo, I watched The Goonies this morning while I was doing my hair.
4) Five films that I watch a lot or that mean a lot to me:
a.) The Poseidon Adventure -- The movie that made me fall in love with the disaster genre. Stuff blowing up! Shelley Winters keeling over! SuperPriest!
b.) The Princess Bride -- Well, really.
c.) A Knight's Tale -- Yeah, I know it's not the best movie in the world, but it's snarky and pretty and has a good sense of humor.
d.) The X-Men movies -- Which I'm counting as one movie because I could really not pick one over the other as my favorite.
e.) Monsoon Wedding -- Because I was reminded the other day how lovely this movie was and YESYESYES.
5) Which five people are you passing the baton onto? And why?
Oh, anybody who wants to, I suppose. :)

Date: 2005-05-04 07:21 pm (UTC)=looking in the little box= 12 movies, one dvd of music videos.
2) The last film I bought:
UHF - Weird Al Yankovic & Michael Richards. I *love this movie
3) The last film watched at home:
Johnny Mnemonic
4) Five films that I watch a lot or that mean a lot to me:
Um... the only dvd in there I've watched more than once really is: "Weird Al" Yankovic - The Ultimate Video Collection. Since the dvd player crapped out the only way to watch movies is to lie in bed & run 'em through the dvd-drive on my computer... Not really good for mass quantities of watching 'cause the sound sucks & I fall asleep a lot.

Ack! I must have left the baton in my other pants... ;)

Date: 2005-05-04 08:45 pm (UTC)As of yesterday I have 282 (incuding boxsets), and people always think I'm nuts.
They just don't know what they're missing.
