I swear to God I'm going to work on that story idea [livejournal.com profile] miggy threw at me either today or tomorrow, though I doubt today because OMG TAR FINALE! *flails* It's no fair because if yesterday was any indication, I didn't get home until eleven from work, and I'm not going to want to spoil myself, but ACK ACK ACK. I'm so going to go into withdrawal next Tuesday when I realize I don't have a new episode to fall back on. I also realized yesterday that I can be pissy if Ron and Kelly win, but they have been playing a good game like it or not, Rob and Amber might be a wee bit arrogant, but they're also playing a good game and they always entertain the hell out of me, and Uchenna and Joyce might get lost at the drop of a hat, but they're good competitors and they're one of the nicest teams that's ever played on the show. So really, I don't think I'd be upset if any of them won but OMG Uchenna and Joyce, pleeeeeeease win. Okay, I don't like Ron and Kelly that much -- mostly Kelly -- but considering all their bitching, they're not doing that bad but OMG Uchenna and Joyce, pleeeeeeease win. And as for Rob and Amber, I could say they don't need to win another million, but that's like saying no one should be allowed to compete anymore if they win one competition, which is silly but OMG Uchenna and Joyce, pleeeeeeease win.

I'm also curious to see the preview for TAR 8, God help me. I have a strong feeling it's going to suck, what with the four-member-team rule, and I cannot begin to describe how what really pisses me off about the whole thing isn't the four members to a team, but the fact that some of your team members can be in their teens. Excuse me? I would go on the show with my little brother in a heartbeat, but we can't because he's nineteen. I know there's probably a good reason for that in a two-member team, but I'd really like to know what it is so I can stop being annoyed. (I'd much rather go with Bryan on the show, because, seriously, we never fight. No, honestly, NEVER. My mother was talking to one of my dad's distant cousins at my brother's graduation party, saw the cousin's kids acting up, and said, "You know, I can't remember my kids ever fighting." Then she turned to me and my brother and said, "Have you two ever had a fight?" We looked all offended and said, "No. Why?" The cousin spent the rest of the party looking at us like we were Stepford children. HEEEEEEE.)

So, anyway, IS IT TONIGHT YET?! *happy flails* OMG Uchenna and Joyce, pleeeeeeease win.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to pad the monster ficathon entry of doooooooooooom. (Current word count: 5,811 words. And I might have enough of the story done by the weekend to let the beta-ing begin. 'Cause, seriously, this is going to take a while.)

EDIT: ICK, ICK, ICK. You know, I love to read the Wikipedia entries for TAR to learn new stuff like the hopeless addict I am, and the newest change I saw was a comment that Gretchen made in the outtakes -- that I guess when they Bathmat-mugged her and Meredith, she got to keep her tampons. Uh ... some things, I just don't need to know.

OMG Uchenna and Joyce, pleeeeeeease win. If we say it enough times maybe it'll come true :P

And honestly? I don't think Ron and Kelly have been that great of racers. Neither have Uchenna and Joyce, either, but at least they're exceedingly pleasant.

OMG Uchenna and Joyce, pleeeeeeease win.

I think we need Uchenna and Joyce to win after last season, because if another bitchy high-maintenence princess that I loathe wins like last season, I'm going to vomit. (At least Amber and Joyce aren't the kind of girls who'd ask a stranger for her lipstick if they got Bathmat-mugged. Although I did like Miss Alli's comment due to her bad skin, which was, "Kelly, ask for powder." *snerk*)

OMG Uchenna and Joyce, pleeeeeeease win.

My brother and I don’t fight either. The closest we’ve ever come is arguing over what show to watch. But that usually turns into the two of us making puppy-dog eyes at each other until one of us is dead from cute and goes to use the TV upstairs.

I think a lot of it was that I'm eight-and-a-half years older than him, so we're not close enough for it to be a problem. I spoil him, he knows what I like. He tolerates my squeeing over TV shows, I tolerate his ramblings about video games. Plus, he's not a quarter of the annoyance that some of my friends in high school had for siblings, and besides, we spent most of our lives being pissed at our parents anyway. A common enemy always helps. :)

I'll be watching the last half hour through my fingers, whimpering that over and over. My fiance is gonna think I lost it.

And word on the Kendra/Kelly resemblance. Bleagh.

The teams of four family members might work, if it's not the nuclear, Mom-Dad-Two-Teenaged-Kids kind of team. For instance, my mom has three sisters, and it would be a hoot watching them tackle TAR. Especially my prissy oldest aunt, who would be kinda snooty and whimpy. (My mom and her two younger sisters are tomboyish and would rock the Detours.)

Hmm...

I think it's either going to be really great and interesting, or else it's really going to be cloying and sucky, especially with the players only having to be eight years old. I mean, eight? I just want to drag a 19-year-old on a two-player game, for crying out loud. Bah. No fair. :(

I feel really guilty about it, but I still said it. :) (Better them than Ron and Kelly any day.)

I think they've passed Jill and John Vito as my favorite-ever Racers, so althought I love Uchenna and Joyce a lot, I'm still rooting for the EVIL. WHOO EVIL!

It's not even that they're evil for me -- it's that they're damn good at everything. Plus, they're incredibly entertaining. :)

They're Lawful Evil. /geek

Given that I get that result every time I've taken an alignment test (oh, like ruthless self-interest and a taste for loopholes is EVIL), I have to root for them! Now I'm thinking about what the other two would be. Uchenna and Joyce would probably be Lawful Good, and Ron and Kelly would be Chaotic Annoying.

You know, on one hand, if they win, all of the Romber haters I know will bitch.

On the other hand, I reeeeeally want to see the look on Lynn and Alex's faces.

But the Romber lovers will DANCE AND FROLIC!

(I'm picturing being told about my current Romber feelings when I was watching Outback and Marquesas. Especially Marquesas. Me In The Past is laughing in disbelief. A lot.)
