So I hit 10k on the monster ficathon entry of dooooooom (I wouldn't be me if I weren't setting unrealistic writing goals for myself, now would I?), so I decided that since I hadn't played with my tarot deck for a while, I'd take it out and read for my main character in Monsters of Moosic.

Yeah, now I remember why I don't play with that deck all that often. 'Cause it's freakin' spooky, that's why. There's a reason I only take it out every once in a while. If Sean had been sitting in front of me getting that reading, I would have had a tomahawk thrown at my head. Or at least, at the wall to the left of my head in an act of frustration and annoyance. GYAH.

tarot cards are great. My sister had a pack and when I was but a wee Crantz I sat down with one of my friends and a instruction booklet and predicted, in order, he was going to meet a mysterious stranger, he was going to have something medical done, and he was going to get pregnant.

And that is why I like tarot cards. The end.

I did three readings for one story I wanted to write in the Chronicles of Riddick fandom. In each one, the first card that came up was Krishna reversed. (Yeah, it wasn't your usual deck.) I laughed and got goosebumps at the same time. Antihero much?

Hee. One of these days, I actually have to give Sean a tarot reading in one of the stories. God only knows what would happen. Especially if Toby shuffles the deck. ;)
