People suck.

This is fact.

However, Oliver survived, and with luck will eventually grow new teeth, grow up, and steal people's underwear. At least he has a chance at a happy ending.

People suck, but then there's the fabulous people who rescue said kittens.

Poor wee thing.

*rage*

It's as bad as I've ever heard. Unfortunately, it isn't the first I've heard that's that bad.

Poor pet. Poor mistreated pets everywhere.

Gah, reminds me of Asha's foster dog Ecker (http://ashagill.com/diary.php) - she (a 2-y-o pedigree Shitzhu) was abused by her former owners. Bathed in bleach, beaten, starved...poor doggy.

Through some friends, Asha rescued it, took care of it for a couple of weeks (vets, grooming, general love and care) and then Ecker found a new home with a new dog to play with.

Ecker was lovely (Asha's stories about her would crack me up, especially since I was in a depression funk that time), that silly dog who thought she was a cat and a beauty queen on occasion, but she had such major issues with abandonment, with intimacy. I don't blame her.

Sigh, I miss Ecker.

Gods, I bet they didn't spay/neuter whatever cat they had and now had an unwanted kitten, resulting in that stupidity. Why does no one listen to that dude on the Price is Right? >.> *hate on animal abusers*

If I didn't have dogs, I'd volunteer in a heartbeat to take the poor thing.

There have been a lot of cruelty to animal stories in the news here, thankfully the police have started charging them with serious criminal charges.
The RSPCA have an odd add campaign to try to deal with it.

This makes me want to pull that asshat's balls off and staple them to the roof of his mouth.

When will people get it through their thick heads that there are plenty of animal lovers out there who would happily take these kittens/puppies/bunnies in? There's no excuse for such cruelty.

That said, we're getting ready to move and want to get a pet. Hopefully we'll find a nice kitten or puppy to adopt.

I agree wholeheartedly. Thanks for posting about it. It made it to [livejournal.com profile] note_to_cat where I caught it. If you dont mind - I'd like to add you. One, for the post, two for being a fellow PA'er, three - for viewpoints. And I see you in [livejournal.com profile] metaquotes often.

I'm so glad someone's planning on taking him (if he tests negative). I saw that this was in Jax the same time I was listening to my husband talk about paying bills late because we aren't sure how much money we'll have for the next few weeks, and I was already formulating ways to sneak in a new kitten and home he didn't notice.

That's sick!
