I just got back from seeing Mr. and Mrs. Smith.

It's been two days, for crying out loud! There should be porny fic by now! *refreshes friends list and whimpers*

Another thing to add to the list of things I'm not allowed to do: NO CROSSOVERS FOR THIS MOVIE. I don't care if they write themselves, like Jake 2.0 or Terminator or X-Men or pretty much any fandom ever, and I don't care if it would mean I would have to go out and see a movie I haven't seen yet simply to kill a plotbunny, like the sudden urge I have to write John/Jane/Agent Sands fic for Once Upon A Time In Mexico, and ... and, NO. NO CROSSOVERS.

I'm allowed to write porn, though. So that's good.

I also need to go make an icon, because Angelina stole my het. Mmm-hmm.

EDIT: You know what there should be? There should be a crossover fic challenge where the Smiths go to other fandoms and are assigned to bump people off. Because, you know, no crossovers for me. *shifty eyes*

I don't know if you've seen it yet, but there's a scene where Angelina takes off her coat and she's wearing a vinyl dominatrix outfit underneath. My reaction was to frown in confusion and think, "That's funny, I wasn't a lesbian a minute ago."

I think there's one line in the movie particularly lending itself to crossovers of any kind... when they're in the car, sharing stuff they never told each other before, and John says he was married before, in Vegas... In my mind the possibilities are endless there.

But you weren't going to write crossovers, so I'll stop the philosophing of where it might work well... and rather focus on my own idea for it.

I loved that line! Because that led to Jane growling, "Name and Social Security number," and that led to John tiredly saying, "You're not allowed to kill her," and that cemented the need I have for a sequel. NEED. Neeeeeeeeed.

It's completely and utterly stupid, has huge gaping plot holes, and features one of the stupidest endings I've ever seen. (Not the last scene, just the translation into that scene. Because that last scene ... HEE! Particularly Brad in it. *snickers*)

But OMG SWEET JUMPING JESUS THE SEX. For all of its problems, it's also snarky and funny and sneaky and incredibly sexy. If Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie aren't doing it, then by God, they should be.
