The Emmy nominations are out! I've never been much for the Emmys, but Naveen Andrews and Terry O'Quinn got nominated for Lost! *flails* (But they're up against William Shatner for Boston Legal, and now I'm torn. *whimper*)

And Mariska Hartigay for SVU! And Jon Stewart! And Hugh Jackman for the Tony Awards! And The 4400 for outstanding miniseries! And The Amazing Race and Lost and Arrested Development got a great big pile of nominations, so I'm all happy now.

Ah, awards shows. They're stupid and cheesy and worthless and I love them to pieces. :)

EDIT: I got the clothes I ordered online from Fashion Bug yesterday, and they fit like a charm. That might be the first time ever for that.

I didn't realize that The 4400 had been submitted as a miniseries. Interesting move on the show's part.

I am so behind on this season, sadly. I'll catch up with the DVD once it's out.

Well, the first season was only six episodes, so I guess it only counted as a miniseries. But still, yay! *happy dance*

Oh, yeah, you definitely have to get caught up on this season. It's getting really good and creepy. :)

They're doing more than six this year, right?

I've missed the past 3-4 eps, sadly. My friend taped two of them and lent me the tape, so I can at least catch those. I vaguely recall USA doing a marathon of all of the eps last year . . . ::crosses fingers::

Yup, I know they're doing at least sixteen. I can't wait for the rest, because this last week's episode was brilliant.

Nice. I'm definitely planning on getting the DVD when it's ready.

Back to the other nods-didn't Shatner get nommed for Boston Legal? I miss Boston Public (well, before half the cast jumped ship and it started to massively suck) . . .

Damn, I mistyped it again. I do that all the time with those two shows. *fixes*

I hadn't been watching Boston Legal, but I saw a commercial last night (during Lost probably) and I started wondering "Why on earth haven't I been watching William Shatner argue the law AND try to have sex with Murphy Brown?" I mean, the man is America's favorite thespian. He's the best actor of the last 3 generations.

So I might start watching. Because William Shatner IS acting talent.

I'm not watching it, but mostly because I'm never home when it's on. When the DVDs come out, I'm so buying it.

OOO, OOO! You have to watch! 'Cause it's snarky and funny and watching James Spader and William Shatner banter with one another is one of the one most underappreciated wonders on the planet. Mmm-hmm. *nods solemnly* :)
