Somebody on ye olde friends list admitted they'd never read a Harry Potter book, and I was thinking about how that's just one of those things that's not embarrassing at all and yet still manages to get a shocked, "Seriously?! Why not?" reaction out of people.

So today's time-wasting question -- name something you've never done (or more than one, if you want) that the average person has, the kind of thing that would get that kind of shocked reaction. Never had a pet, never held a baby, never traveled out of your home state ... something like that.
