baaaaabyanimals, it's the day to show baaaaby-whatever-your-school-mascots-were. I find myself amused because my high school mascot was the Foresters, in which "Foresters" was a lame synonym for lumberjacks. Why the coaches of our sports teams never pulled us aside after losing games to assure us that we were lumberjacks and we were okay is beyond me.
For added hilarity, my college's mascot was the Indians. Which is kind of lame, but Lumberjacks vs. Indians is sort of a lesser version of Ninjas vs. Pirates or Astronauts vs. Cavemen.
In other news, I haven't watched Pirates of the Caribbean in ages. This must be rectified immediately.

But my sister's new high school may be the best ever - the Unicorns (they're a creative & performing arts high school with no sports teams...)
