So, you know ... still evil. ;)

Also, when you look out from our front porch, you see this:

It helps if you picture a really awful band singing a bad cover of "Sharp-Dressed Man" as loud as freakin' possible along with it.

I'll help!

Beautiful cat! He's a Siamese? Or a Singapora? (Now I have Koko and Yum Yum stuck in my head, which is fairly obscure even for me!)

That's a lovely view, lake (?) and hills and all, but I'm glad I don't have the soundtrack too.

Oh, come now. Obscure? Lilian Jackson Braun wrote, what, at least 20 or 30 of those books? They started going downhill rapidly when Qwill got the Mega Inheritance, though.

Well, maybe obscure in the UK then!

Oh yeah, Mega Inheritance was ..annoying, although I'm not sure how long she could have kept on going with 'new column, new housing, new mystery' as a formula either.

Eee! Those cat mysteries that I can't remember the name of? With the two siamese cats?

"The Cat Who"... series. I read most of them at one point. And I wonder if Qwill and the gal ever hooked up.

Except all I can think about when I see those two names is their origin. Which I have the feeling is not what you had in mind.

A set of murder mysteries called The Cat Who ... where the main character had/aquired two Siamese cats who he called/were called Koko and Yum Yum.

Oh, I know of the Lillian Braun books, though I never read any of them; but I'm slightly more tempted to do so (maybe a 0.2 on the temptation scale, rather than a plain old zero) now that I know the author is a Gilbert & Sullivan fan.

Nice romanesco broccoli, by the way.

OK, you win the award for the first person to be able to identify it by name!
