There's a news story on NBC right now about how sheets of rock with fossils in them are being turned into art. Oh, man, I want one.

When I was a kid, I was into dinosaurs just like one of those little spazzy kids you can imagine, but what was cool is that my grandpa used to work for an oil drilling company and brought home these round cutouts of stone with little fossils in them that they'd find while digging. I wish I still had some of those. They were just the neatest things.

And now they're excavating a mammoth. Coooooool. :)

EDIT: And now I'm going to play "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets". I can't decide whether it's good or bad that the only computer games that interest me are the Harry Potter games and old Nintendo ROMs.

Well, I cheated a little at Duck Hunt, although I didn't really have to. If there's one thing I don't suck at it, it's shooting games. Pretty impressive, since my eyesight sucks. ;)

Let's see ... right now, I have Super Mario Brothers 1, 2, and 3, Contra (I still remembered the code for thirty extra lives after a whole decade, and there was a T-shirt at Hot Topic with the code on it I would have killed for), Bubble Bobble, Milon's Secret Castle (talking about that game was how I met my best friend in high school ... :)), Metroid, Dr. Mario, Tetris, and Boulderdash on my computer right now. Those old games get me all nostalgic. (What I really need to get is a ROM for Game Boy of the first Super Mario Brothers game. I used to play and beat that one constantly.)

In 'Legend Of Zelda: Majora's Mask' for the N64, I found an old ghost. After rescuing his ass, he gave me a mask that hides me from the enemies.

I used this to 'cheat' at the pirate's cover. Stupid pirates, you can't see me, though that wasn't the real intent of the game creators. HAW HAW.

All the level guides for any Harry Potter game I've seen tend to be 'OMG Harry Has To Travel Through Yet Another Hogwarts Maze OMG' then I cry.
