I really have to finish editing Monsters of Moosic this weekend, for God's sake. I want a couple more people to read it and I can't do that until I get off my ass and finish. *grumbles* I also have to finish my job application for when I go back to PA while I'm at it. Or at least, finish the cover letter.

Only thirty-five days until my birthday. *bounces around the room* God, I'm such a five-year-old. My opinion on my birthday every year is kind of like my reasons for why I like Halloween better than Christmas -- presents are fine and always appreciated, but I usually appreciate more the excuse to act like a hyperactive spazz for twenty-four hours. :)

Elsewhere, what's on Jesus' iPod? A lot of good music, it appears. (Although I firmly believe that everything Johnny Cash ever did is on there as well.)

EDIT: This eBay store has some of the coolest art, I swear. *pets*

on birthdays

Have spent the last two days observing my birthday I hear you about
why you like Halloween better than Christmas nobody gives funny looks for acting weird on major holidays. My birthday was four days ago but it happened to be scheduled the day after my younger sister's wedding reception, so the following afternooon she opened all her wedding reception gifts and I opened by b-day cards.

Had a regular party the next evening, and I have leftover birthday cake.
The gifts were monetary in nature in addition to the presents, but I'm
sure I'll find a way to use them, that one card had a Borders Bookstore
gift certificate tucked inside of it, hmm, the possibilities.
My aunt and Uncle who live in Beaverton, Oregon know me all too well.
