I am now starting my third hour of cleaning the goddamn oven.

You have no idea how bad this oven is. It is the one thing that I've been putting off since I moved here because the interior of the oven was ungodly. Think of the worst mental image you can get of the crap that might be crusting up an oven, and double it. Three hours, people. If I ever see the people who lived here before me, I might have to whack them upside the head with a boat oar. ARGH.

I don't know how far you've gotten or how much time you have left. But I found out (quite by accident) that if you spray Ez-Off into the oven and leave it for 2 days EVERYTHING will come off with just a wipe of a towel. (Yeah I don't use the oven very often *blush*)

Previous owners are fun, aren't they? When we moved into my old house, the grass was like something out of Little House on the Prarie. And then someone from the homeowners' association came to say we'd be fined if we didn't mow our lawn. :P

Nothing is worse than the oven in the apartment a friend of mine moved into. Nothing at all.

Let's just say he found something under it that would have had me moving out and running for the hills. Also, it's why I've never moved my own oven.

*raises an eyebrow* aren't your landlords supposed to have done a move-out inspection and cleaned the whole apartment and charged the previous renters out of their security deposits for any extra cleaning they needed to have done? .. and cleaned the apartment before you moved in?
