Nov. 10th, 2005 02:51 amI just read the betting spoiler for TAR this season. ('Cause the last few seasons have had spoilers of who won in the form of betting pools being taken down for suspicious patterns from the home state of one specific team, and this season is no different.)
Oh, please be right, betting spoiler. Pleeeeeeeeeease be right. If the Linzes win, I'll be twelve shades of thrilled at this point, because they're the only likable team left. They might be fratty and have a collectively immature sense of humor, but they do seem to get along fine (in fact, their treatment of one another, especially the boys towards Megan, has gotten better as the season's progressed) and they're awfullyhot and yummy fun to watch. Most of the time, they're behaving like they're on vacation together, which I like out of my teams.
And if it goes the way I heard and the Weavers end up in second place ... BWAHAHAHAHAHA! *points and laughs* Not that I want them to be second-place-worthy, but still, maybe God just doesn't like them best. *nods solemnly*
I also read an announcement on TARflies that Ray and Deana are expecting a baby. Well, good for them, I guess. In retrospect, they really weren't as bad as they could have been.

Date: 2005-11-10 02:34 pm (UTC)The Linzes are the only family left that I haven't got complete contempt for. If you have a brother - younger or older - you can tolerate them.
And the Weavers place second? *pppft* Don't they know Buddha is the entity in charge of running this show? God's busy watching Commander in Chief and taking notes.

Date: 2005-11-10 03:43 pm (UTC)Exactly. Watching them reminds me of the times I've hung out with my brother and his friends. Sure, the childish jokes can get old, but as long as they're not little bastards, you can put up with them.
