yuletide assignment. HEE! Well, that came out of left field. (And it's a fandom I had completely forgotten in the past few days that I said I could write. So, you know, surprise! Heh.)
Oh, and dear Yuletide Santa, ... Hi. *waves* I think the main thing I should say is that I'm more of a het junkie than a slasher. Not that I don't like slash -- some slash pairings I adore to itty bitty pieces -- but in the fandoms I requested, I really can't think of any slash pairing I like. (Well, there is one, but I like the het pairing I suggested with one of the people in the slash pairing better. That het pairing just makes me embarrassingly happy and gives me all sorts of weird ideas. Sorry. ;)) And a safe rule for all of my requests -- don't slash the character who wears glasses all the time. Those characters are definite negatives in the slashy part of my brain.
But honestly, as long as the characters are in character, I have no problems with anything. I'd say I'd prefer comedy to angst, but then I realized that pretty much all of my requests are begging for some angst. But you know ... funny angst. I mean, the requests I made for that sort of "And when they grew up ..." type of story are dying for funny angst. Oh, and I love me some snappy dialogue or weird plot points out of nowhere or just general crackfic. Have fun. Go nuts. And I know they tell you not to say that, because then you'll get your favorite character having an orgy with the Marx Brothers while dropping an anvil on your other favorite character, but as long as it's well-written ... where can I read that? No, really, where can I read that?
But seriously, I'll be happy with anything you can write in any of the fandoms I requested because they all need more fanfic. Oh, yes ... yes, they do. :)
In other news, I'm really annoyed by the fact that the only shoes that don't make my feet scream in agony at work are the battered knockoff Uggs my mom got me that are a size too big. It's an apt name, though, because that's the exact same sound I make when I put them on.
