(no subject)

I really want to get out of the house today and go to the movies. It's still my weekend, for crying out loud, and I refuse to spend an entire weekend in my apartment. So far this weekend, I've only left to buy milk and ice cream and I want to go out and do something, damn it.

On the other hand, outside is where the cold is. *shudders*

Then again, looking at my to-do list makes me want to stay. I still want to get that Poseidon Adventure remake recap done, I have to start writing my yuletide story already, I had a Supernatural plotbunny last night that just about killed me dead, and it seems that the stress of NaNoWriMo and only being allowed to work on one of the Books of Boggs at one time must have been doing most of the blocking, because now I'm all back to normal. *headsmack* What I'd really like to do before the end of December (shouldn't be hard, since I only work eleven days for the rest of the month) is get something substantial in every single book's file. A scene, an opening line ... preferably, I'd like a thousand words at least in each file. At least I've got that goal fulfilled for the first three books, so I've only really got seven thousand words I'd have to write for the others. But if I just write whatever comes to mind first like usual, I should be good.

I realized yesterday that I am thoroughly ready for spring ... and it's December 5th. Like, I'm so ready just thinking about spring brings up that scent of the air in spring in my head, and it's driving me nuts. Of course, thinking about warmer weather also brought up another thought in my head, because I live a block and a half from the parking lot near the library where every summer during Old Home Week, they have a band playing for four nights straight. Oh, that'll be loads of fun, especially with the drunken crowds wandering the streets all night long. *eye roll*

EDIT: Okay, see, now I have to go out and do something, because I am having an awesome hair day and I am not going to waste it in my apartment.

1.) First, there must be booze. And maybe raspberry cheesecake ice cream. But mostly booze.

2.) And digital cameras require fresh batteries, which I need to run to the store to get. ;P

3.) Not bad. I mean, NaNo was stifling rather than helpful this year, although since I did get about 25k done on Vampires of Vandling, that's definitely not a bad thing. Monsters of Moosic just needs editing, and The Walking Dead of Wilkes-Barre is halfway done because of last year's NaNo. As for the rest, I know what's going to happen in them, I just need to sort out the details. :)

Then I realized that winter doesn't even start for three more weeks. *cries*
