Dec. 12th, 2005 05:13 pmSo I went to see Narnia today. I didn't read the books, or if I did, I don't remember reading them. (Yes, I know, I'm sad.) But that was really a great movie. I thought Tilda Swinton made a fabulous White Witch (well, hell, when is she ever not great in something?), and I know everybody's raving about how hot Mr. Tumnus is -- which, hey, no argument here -- but while you're all molesting him, I'll just be abducting Peter for my own nefarious purposes. Ah, the young blond British guys gets me every time. *giggles*
I also may have bought a ticket to tomorrow's midnight showing of King Kong. *whistles innocently*
And then I went shopping for Christmas presents and pulled a round of, "Well, while I'm here, I really want that," which is really, really bad for me to do this week, considering I still have to buy for my mom and dad. My brother's covered -- I owe him thirty bucks for some T-shirts he wants to order, which I know he won't mind getting whenever I can get it to him, and I very nearly spent that much today on him in Hot Topic to buy him a Boondocks Saints shirt. (There is a T-shirt in there with a silhouette of a shotgun and the phrase "Zombie Repellent" on it. WAAAAANT.) I got my mother a nice pair of flannel pajamas, but they were on sale so I can afford to get her something else. But I got myself some pajama pants and a T-shirt which, while they were both really cheap, was all wrong and stupid of me. *headsmack* No more until after the holidays, stupid.

Date: 2005-12-12 10:50 pm (UTC)oh. and tilda swanson. 'cause, y'know, evil.
you can't but help but like hot evil. that's why faith is always better than buffy and evil willow is the best willow.
hot + evil == good.
it's universal math.
(girls have the 'tough guy' thing, guys have the 'evil girl' thing. leave us alone.)

Date: 2005-12-13 10:50 am (UTC)Honestly, I'd forgotten how much I liked raiding Hot Topic for T-shirts. And they had an AC/DC hoodie that I had to stand there and swoon over for a while. My precious ... *covets*
