apocalypsosYuletide recs ahoy!
Wonderfalls
Nice Things -- So I was trying to cover all of the fandoms I know and even some I don't, and I've never seen Wonderfalls but I clicked anyway. Yay for babyfic! And really cute babyfic at that, in the fucked-up way I've learned Wonderfalls fic comes in. :)
Wedding Crashers
If I Were Gay -- I haven't seen the movie yet, but everybody else was reccing it, so I figured I'd try it out. OMG, so friggin' funny.
Veronica Mars
A Little Bit More -- Veronica is conflicted and Logan is an ass. Business as usual in Neptune, and yet it's just as weird and awkward and simmering-under-the-surface as it usually is with those two.
Thomas Harris -- Hannibal
Instead of a View -- Set between Silence of the Lambs and Hannibal, this is a creepy piece about Hannibal Lecter's obsession with Starling that's as fascinating as it is unsettling.
Terminator
The Unwritten Future -- I wanted to make sure this was included with my recs post, because it was written for me and even if it weren't and I had no connection to it, I'd put it here. I love what this does with Kyle and Sarah, who are just about my favoritest, favoritest characters on the planet. (What, you wanted coherent? Not with this one, dude. ;))
Supernatural
The Thousand Ways to Bleed -- It seems dark but normal for the Winchesters, just another day in their lives following the events of Asylum, and then it gets darker and darker until down the rabbit-hole you go.
The Stand
'Lone -- It's just Nick and Stu having a talk, but it feels like good fanfic should, like a scene that could easily have slipped out of the manuscript before it made its way to the publisher and could just lock right into place in the novel.
Sleepy Hollow
Crooked House -- A perfectly characterized and amusing portrait of Ichabod, Katrina, and Masbath settling into their new life together following the events of the movie.
Okay, that's the first set of recs. Really, if you have some time to kill, go on over sometime before the first and check 'em out, maybe leave a little feedback if you could. :)
