R.I.P. Red Halloween lights ...

apocalypsosWell, they lasted longer than I'd ever thought they would, but the cheap-ass red-orange Halloween string lights that have been lighting my bedroom since last October finally conked out just now.
Damn it. *sniffle* I loved those lights. They made my bedroom look like a cross between a den of iniquity and the fiery gateway to Hell. Now the only way I'll pull off that interior decorating theme is by bringing in the evil sluts and howling imps of Satan again. And after what they did to my carpet the last time --
